Michelle grew up on the east coast in the small town of Cole Harbour and came to Ontario as a competitive figure skater. Her passion for sports has not changed and she is now an avid mountain biker and distance runner. Aside from her love of sports she always knew from a young age that her calling was to help animals, when she insisted on bringing all creatures big and small home to nurse them back to health. Michelle enjoys spending time with her very beloved Boston Terrier, Harlow, and her cat Fern.

Gail

RVT

Although Gail has only been with us a short while, she is certainly not new to the Profession! Gail graduated from St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ont. as an Animal Care Technologist in 1982, and then became a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) as the designation became available. She has basically worked at only three general practice, small animal clinics throughout her career, but is trusting that ACAH will now be her "furever" home!
Gail lives with 2 felines, Merlin, and Morgana, who together keep she and her husband and sons thoroughly entertained. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cross-stitch, needlepoint, and spending time outdoors.

He is a slightly grumpy DSH cat who came to her family in 2017 from a friend who loves him dearly but could no longer keep him. Now Kibbie is spoiled with a tent, cat house, cat perch, multiple toys and of course, a cat wardrobe. Linda would not have it any other way.
